Obituary
Peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Friday, November 18, 2022 in his 78th year. Dave, loving brother of Sharon. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Isobel (nee Kelly), and by his brother Murray in 1944. Dave grew up on a farm on the 2nd of Saugeen. He started his working career as a cook at his Aunt and Uncle’s Tri-Bell Drive In, then went on to pick tobacco, construction, janitor at the public school, farmer and finally at the Safety Shop at OPG Nuclear until he retired. He loved golf and to play away on his Martin guitar, a little country or bluegrass.
Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, Port Elgin with interment at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin.
Special thanks to the staff at the Southampton and Owen Sound hospitals and to Dr. Marriott for their care over these many years.
Memorial donations to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
