David Evan Cale Irvine
December 7, 1994 – September 13, 2022
On Tuesday, September 13th, 2022, David Evan Cale Irvine, beloved son, brother, cousin, and friend left this world to be with our creator after a long battle with numerous health complications. Cale will be remembered as a fighter who inspired those around him, he met each challenge with a bright smile and a good laugh. He took his role as eldest brother and responsibility as protector earnestly. Cale had a big heart and exhibited endless generosity to those closest to him. Cale had strong values and prioritized his education, proudly graduating with his Grade 12 diploma in June of 2021.
Cale will be greatly missed by his Mother Eileen Easter, Father Davey Irvine, siblings, Kason, Journey, Kellen, Oceana, Jorja, Jean, Unity Irvine, Cody Mercer, Caylin Mercer and Amrick Henry his Great-Uncle Wayne (Cheryl), countless cousins, aunties, uncles, friends, and extended family. Cale is met by numerous previously departed loved ones including his beloved Granny Dar.
The viewing will take place on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by Funeral service at Gilbart Funeral Home in Selkirk, MB. After the funeral a burial will take place at Little Britain United Church. A luncheon will follow at Gilbart Funeral Home. The pallbearers are Jesse Easter, Glen Easter. Sidney Easter, Tyler Easter, Raymond Mercredi, James Kay and Noah Kayseas.
Cale’s family would like to thank the medical staff at Health Sciences Centre and his special angel Hannah who provided thoughtful and gracious care during Cale’s last days. They would also like to extend appreciation to Gilbart Funeral Home and all who provided comfort and support to his family during this difficult time.
