Charles Osborne, age 74, entered Heaven Thursday evening, May 12, 2022, at home surrounded by friends and family. He was a retired UPS truck driver, a member of Marbledale Baptist Church, and Shekinah Masonic Lodge #524 F&AM.
Preceded in death by father and mother, C.C. and Lucille; in-laws, Emert and Sidney Scarlett; special sister-in-law, Carolyn Cate; special friend, Susan Barkley.
Survived by loving wife, Brenda; children, Tammy (Darryl) Worsham, Chris (Stacie) Osborne, Chuck Osborne.; grandchildren, Brittany Worsham, Cameron Osborne, Molly Osborne, Kenadee Osborne; sister and brother-in-law, Merle (Jim) Dawson, who was like a brother; sister-in-laws, Inez Fleenor, Christine (Ikie) Shepherd; brother-in-laws, George (Sherri) Scarlett, J. Harold Cate; several cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and special friend who was like a brother, Lonnie Parrott.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Marbledale Baptist Church, followed by services at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 PM Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at East TN Veteran’s Cemetery/JS for a 2:00 PM interment with Full Military Honors by East Tennessee Veteran’s Honor Guard. Pallbearers: Randall Fleenor, George Scarlett, Jr., David Scarlett, Stacy Cate, Terry Branum, Mike Bowen. Honorary Pallbearers: Ikie Shephard, J. Harold Cate, James Dawson, George Scarlett, Sr., UPS retirees, Cale Parrott, SS Class at Marbledale Baptist Church.
