COLE, Carmela (nee Anzovino) – Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Thursday December 15, 2022 at the age of 87. Predeceased by her beloved husband George (2016). Cherished mother of Martha (Peter) Collins, Richard (Josephine) Cole, Louise (Bruno) Alfano and George Jr. (Maria) Cole. Loving grandmother to Tiffany (John) McGregor, Celeste (Kevin) Pellerin, Ricky Cole, Julianna Cole, Georgio Cole, Alexa Alfano, Marianina Alfano (Jessie Barbas), Alfredo Alfano (Katrina Bartolini), Mattea Alfano, Madison Cole, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cole is survived by her brothers Angelo Anzovino, Sam (Grace) Anzovino and sister Grace Lazuiruk. Predeceased by her siblings Louise (Jack) Cadman, Dora Anzovino, Jim (Glenna) Cole and Eileen (Ron) Dean. Mrs. Cole will be remembered for her wonderful singing voice, great sense of humour and above all, her loving nature. A Funeral Mass in celebration of her life will be held Tuesday December 20, 2022 at 1:00 pm at St.Patrick’s Church, with the Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
