Obituary
Willis, Elizabeth ‘Betty’, Peacefully at Maple View Nursing Home in Owen Sound on Monday November 7, 2022 at the age of 83. Born in Edinburgh Scotland in 1939 she emigrated to Canada in 1964. Betty became a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Southampton. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Janet Willis, brother Willie Willis, sisters Belle (Tommy) Brennan, Margaret (Basil) Shular, nephews Doug and Ross Shular. Survived and remembered by the families of Doug and Ross, nieces Maureen Brennan, Heather Shular, Bonnie Noseworthy nephews Ian and Terry Brennan, Stewart and Gordon Shular and their families and her friends.
Family give thanks to the staff at the Maple View for their great care and understanding of Betty. Cremation has taken place. Spring interment at Southampton Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 155 in Southampton or to the Maple View Care Home Council in Owen Sound.
