Obituary
It is with immense sadness & heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Audrey E. Hunt at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL at the age of 86 years, 19 days before her 87th birthday.
Audrey was born in Boswarlos, NL on December 15th, 1935. She married Tunney in Boswarlos on November 21, 1953 and together they had a son & daughter. The family moved to Ontario in 1963 to find work and made it their home for 14 years where they enjoyed life with family, friends, weekend dancing, camping trips and frequent road trips with the family. They returned to Boswarlos in 1977, built a beautiful home, retired and had 67 wonderful years together. Audrey dedicated her life to her family, family was her everything.
She leaves to mourn with many loving memories her Husband Tunney, children; Helen (Albert), Don (Nancy), grandchildren; Donna (Dwayne) David (Kayla), Natalie (Joe), great grandson Chad (Faith), brothers; Everett (Anne), George (Diane) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins & extended family.
Audrey was predeceased by her parents Cicely & Otto Harvey, step mother Stella Jesso Harvey, sister Phyllis, brothers; Irving, Brian, sister-in-law’s; Freda, Violet, Dulcie, Stella, Blanche, Marjorie, brother-in-laws; Charlie, Martin, Llewellyn,Loyal, and Bill.
A Visitation will take place at Russell’s Funeral Home in Stephenville, NL on Tuesday, November 29th, 2022 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Funeral service 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at St. James Anglican Church in Port Au Port, NL with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery.
