Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Strathroy Middle Hospital, Audrey Agnes Holmes passed away at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late William Holmes. Loving step-mother of John (Sharon) Holmes and Elizabeth Holmes. Cherished grandmother of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Youngest sister to many brothers and sisters and survived by several nieces and nephews. Audrey was a proud Registered Nurse at KW Hospital. A special thank you to Watford Quality Care Nursing Home and the tenants of Willowdale Apartments for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Audrey’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. The interment of ashes will take place at a later date in Waterloo. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Alzheimer Society Sarnia-Lambton (cheques only at the funeral home please). Arrangements entrusted to SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
