Anna Mable Walker (nee Robb) of Glencoe passed away in her 87th year on Wednesday, December 21,2022 at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury. Daughter of the late Arthur and Katherine Robb. Predeceased by her husband Martin Walker, brother George and sister Mary. She is survived by her nephew Donald Jones, nieces Kathy Jones (Thomas Hayes) and Maribeth Jones. Great-aunt of Sammy Hayes and Alex Hayes and great-great-aunt of Annie Lind. Anna is also survived by Martin’s daughters Dorothy Walker (late Bill), Audrey Hailstone (late Hank), Norma Dolbear (late Bruce), June McLachlan (Tom) and Marlene Walker and 7 step grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Anna was a constant in the town of Glencoe and was a member of Trinity United Church and Burns (Mosa) Presbyterian Church. She was well known for her strength, sense of humor and steadfast loyalty to family and neighbours. She loved all God’s creatures and sharing the stories of the birds she watched from her window. Many will remember Anna from working as a retail sales clerk in various Glencoe stores. In keeping with Anna‘s wishes, following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 1:00 pm with her granddaughter Rev. Deb Dolbear-Van Bilsen officiating. Inurnment at Kilmartin cemetery. Memorial donations to a charity of your choice.
