We sadly announce the death of our mother at St. Peter’s Hospital on July 29 at the age of 77. Cherished by her children Jay (Tracey) Wakelin and Heather (Dave) Hermans. Loving grandmother to Dylan, Hope, Jakob, Ryan, and Amanda. Dear sister-in-law of Jim Irwin. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Kay Moggach and by her sister Marilyn. Special thanks to the staff at St. Peter’s for all of their compassionate care. As a busy mother and giving grandmother, mom also was a dedicated volunteer at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby. She will be missed by her extended family and friends. A Memorial Gathering at St. Elizabeth Pumphouse, 447 Elizabeth St, Grimsby on Friday August 5, 2022, from 2-4 PM. If desired, memorial contributions to St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
