Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Alphonsus Bernard McCarthy on Monday, November 7th, 2022 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital at the age of 89 years.
He leaves to mourn with many loving and precious memories: sons: Wayne (Suzy), Gary (Jacquie), and Derek (Maggie); daughter Carleen (Danny) Doucette; brother Ted; grandchildren: Charlene, Kelly (Josh), Kimberly, Shala, and Brianna; great grandchildren: Kiersten, Kaden, Grace, Dylan, and Kaitlyn; hunting buddy Heber; and furry friend Mr. Jinx; as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Alphonsus was predeceased by: wife Eileen; grandson Shane; parents Daniel and Helena; brothers: Bern, Bill, Tony, Felix, and Dan; and sisters: Mary and Loretta.
Following his wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy donations in Alphonsus’ memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
