It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Alonzo Cusick of Marystown announces his sudden passing. Alonzo passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Sunday, September 25th, 2022, at the age of 81. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his daughters, Frankie Pittman (Paul) of CBS, Attracta Harnett of Marystown, Tanya Cusick (Paddy Bonnell) of Marystown; 6 grandchildren, Felicia (Denis), Andrew (Chelsea), Laura (Al), Marisa (Harry), Ian and Avery; 2 great-grandchildren, Akira and Emberlyn; sisters-in-law, Regina Mitchell and Theresa Carey; brother-in-law, Patrick Mitchell (Lolita); former son-in-law, Owen Jackman; plus a large number of other family and friends.
Alonzo was predeceased by his wife, Ita Cusick; parents, Francis & Elizabeth Cusick; son-in-law, Paul Harnett; parents-in-law, Vincent & Ann Eliza Mitchell; sisters-in-law, Susanna Hannam (Johnny); brothers-in-law, Hughie Mitchell (Bride), Thomas Mitchell (Maude), Jack Carey.

Mass of Christian Burial for Alonzo will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church – Marystown on Thursday, September 29th, 2022 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery – Marystown.
In Alonzo’s memory donations may be made to The Cusick Family to be donated to a charity of their choice, or flowers gratefully accepted.
