Obituary of Allison Gordon Johnson
It is with great sadness that the family of Allison Gordon Johnson announces his passing, which occurred on December 25, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Steeves Mountain, NB, on April 11, 1942, he was a son of the late Guy and Nellie (Powell) Johnson.
Allison is survived by his wife, Barbara, of Mt. Middleton, NB; his children: David Johnson (Shelley McCarthy) of Mt. Hebron, NB; Mark Johnson of Mt. Middleton, NB; Christine Grant (Raymond) of Ottawa, ON; and Elaine Gowan (Bill) of Fredericton, NB; his sisters: Nellie Livingstone of Winnipeg, MB; and Ethel Drake (Gary) of Prince George, BC; his grandchildren: Caleb (Celeste), Charity (Marcus), Seth, Jonathan, Tiffany, Alexander, Alanna (Alex), Tyler, and Trevor; and his four great-grandchildren. Allison is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Allison was predeceased by his brothers: Reginald, Orland, and Carl.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus, NB (506-433-1176). A celebration of Allison’s life will take place from Abundant Life United Pentecostal Church, 489 Main St, Sus, NB, on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 2PM. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed.
