Obituary of Allan Stewart Campbell
It is with heartfelt sorrow, the family of Allan Stewart Campbell, loving companion of Donna Fraser, of Quispamsis, announce his passing on Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Born on May 5, 1953, in Saint John, he was a son of the late Heber and Joan (nee Stead, Marsden) Campbell. Allan attended Saint John Community College, graduating in Architectural Drafting, and then attended Saint John Community College, graduating in Industrial Mechanics. He had a thirty-nine-year career at the Irving Oil Refinery, performing various roles, retiring in 2011, as a Project Manager. Allan made many friends at the refinery with some still remaining close to this day.
Allan is survived by his daughters; Teri Fernandes (Shane) of Ohio, Christine Campbell (Jon Hurd) of Dieppe, NB, Laura Cormier (Paul) of Willow Grove, NB, and Alison Dawn Campbell of Rothesay, stepchildren; Angela Collins (Robbie) of Rothesay, Chrissy Fraser of Winnipeg, MB, and Curtis Fraser of Red Deer, AB, brothers; Phillip Campbell, and Jim Campbell (Janie) of Halifax, NS, grandchildren; Aubree Cormier, Dominic Cormier, Celeste Collins, and Delilah Collins, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Besides his parents, Allan was predeceased by his sister June Conrod.
Resting at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, (506-849-2119) with visiting on Wednesday from 4 – 7 PM. Funeral Service will be held at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at 11AM. Interment to take place at Cedar Hill Ext. Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Diabetes Canada.
