Cormier, Alan Wilfred:
Passed away suddenly on September 7, 2022 in Kitchener, Ontario at the age of 75. Al was born in Brantford, Ontario on October 16th, 1946.
Beloved Husband of Sandy (nee McGee). Loving Father to Paul, Jason, Dean (Soulla), Jody (Matt) and Fur baby Frankie. Dear Grandpa to Everson, Harrison, Mackenzie, Clay, Sydney, Carson, and Gia.
Survived by his sister Linda Tenny. Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Mabel and sisters Marilyn Carlyle and Joyce Irish. Al will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Al was an active member of the KW Jaycees and President in 1974, a longstanding member of the Kitchener Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow.
Al was a Certified Management Accountant, business owner and entrepreneur for 32 years then joined Nelco Mechanical as Controller, retiring in 2014.
Alan’s family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The visitation will continue on Wednesday, September 14 from 12:00pm- 12:45pm with a Memorial Service in the chapel at 1:00pm. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Rotary Foundation (Canada) would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
