SCHWARTZ, Alan Mark Schwartz – Passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones on August 12 in Toronto. He was 78 years old.
The consummate family man, Alan loved unconditionally his wife of 51 years, Arlene. He is survived by his loving children Evan and Carolynn, Peter and Nicole, grandchildren Bailey Lauren, Milo, and Eytan. Brother of Ricky and Linda.
Dignified and deeply thoughtful, Alan was a true gentleman. Etched along the waters of the family cottage that Alan designed and built are these words, which speak to his nature, love of family, and precious surroundings.
There are wooden ships, there are sailing ships, there are ships that sail the sea, but the best ships are friendships – and may they always be.
