Entered into rest at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Wednesday September 21st, 2022 at the age of 73. Cherished father of Jennifer McFarlane (Bill) and David Burton (Jordan). Fondly remembered by his granddaughters Isabelle & Madison McFarlane. Survived by his brothers Larry (Sharon), Ron (Mary), and Wayne. Predeceased by his parents Hector & Norene Burton. Also missed by his nieces, nephews and friends. There will be a private graveside service to be held at a later date at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Maitland. Arrangements are entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel at 4 James St Brockville. In remembrance of John Burton donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
