It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the age of 87 years. Daughter of the late Adelard and late Irene (née Kingsley) Lanthier. Wife of the late Achille Gareau. Loving mother of Robert (Agnes), Rejean (Debby), Nicole (Lealand), Denise (Mike), Pierre (Darlene), Michel (Kathy). Predeceased by her siblings Carmen, Raymonde, Rachelle and Ronald. Beloved grandmother of Stephanie, Matthew, Natalie, Adam, Julie, Christopher, Chad, Kari-Lynne, Kevin, Marc, Renée and André. Cherished great grandmother of Lyla, Leo, Andrew, Millina-Jade, Abby-Gayle, Alexandra, Carson, Charlie, Aimée, Aubree, Adeline, Olivier and Felix. Sadly, missed by many nieces, nephews, spouses, extended family and friends. Due to the pandemic, the family will have private scheduled visitation at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury. Masks are mandatory.
