Parsons, Wilson Charles:
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Wilson Charles Parsons in his 83rd year, on February 5th, 2021. He was born in Deer Lake, Newfoundland, the oldest of 13 children.
Wilson will be sorely missed by his loving wife, Mary, to whom he was married for 57 years, his children, Ernest (Denise) and Susie (David) and was predeceased by son-in-law, Roger. He was an amazing Poppy to his four grandchildren, Creighton (Paige), Dustin (Cheyenne), Keith (Amanda) and Heather. He also had two great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Hunter.
Left to mourn are his brothers and sisters, Mildred (Douglas), Henry (Rosemary), Chris, Linda (Terry), Loretta (Terry), Lillian (Keith), Doreen (Truman) and Rick (Daphne). Wilson was predeceased by his siblings Alice (Arthur), Ralph (late Mary), Lillian, and Mazie (late Sylvester). He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Wilson was a loving husband, father and Poppy. He was known as an avid collector. He loved his sports-especially his teams, the Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago Black Hawks and the Kitchener Rangers.
A private family service will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home (519) 749-8467. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.henrywalser.com to view Wilson’s memorial.
