Passed peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on July 8, 2021, in his 96th year. Predeceased by his wife of 70 years Muriel and his daughter Maureen. Survived by his sister Eileen. Loving father of Robert (Patricia) and Douglas. Cherished grandfather of Laura (Seamus) and Sean. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Lakeridge Health Oshawa for the compassionate care that Bill received. In honour of their service in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II, the Funeral Service and interment of Bill and Muriel’s ashes into the Atlantic Ocean will be conducted onboard the HMCS Sackville by the Chaplain.
