It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dad, William (Bill) Powers, age 84 years of New Perlican at Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, April 18, 2021 in the presence of his loving family.
Our hearts are broken and we are lost without both you and mom, but it’s comforting knowing that you are both together again. Predeceased by wife Alice.
Left with loving and cherished memories are his children Billy (Gail), Bev (Wayne) and Susan (Rodney); his grandchildren Courtney and Candace, Jenette and Juston, and Lucas; his great grandchildren Layla and Charlie, James and Jacob, and Taylor, Landon and William, as well as his precious grand pup Lily who he dog sat many times, also brothers Gerry(Donna),Lorne(Ann),Melvin ( Inez),and sister Ethel (Bill Woodman). plus a large circle of family and friends.
Following Covid 19 guidelines, there is a limited number of people to attend. Visitation for family and friends will take place on Wednesday, April 21 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, and Thursday, April 22 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A private family service will be held on Friday, April 23 at 2pm. Cremation to follow.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stoke Foundation.
