William Norman Cormier 2021

William N. Cormier, 90, of
Moncton, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, June
23, 2021. Born in Adamsville, he was the son of the late Hector and
Margaret (Arsenault) Cormier.
William served with the
Canadian Armed Forces; he was proud to be a veteran who served in the
Korean War. In his earlier years he enjoyed gardening, hunting and
going for drives, and later on in years he really enjoyed Bingo. He
was the caretaker of the Adamsville Baptist Cemetery for many
years.
He will be sadly missed by his
children, Ann Young (Blair) of Harcourt, Marilyn Cormier, Norma
Arsenault, Sharon Allen (Stan), Donna Cormier, Karen McGraw (Denis)
and John Cormier, all of Moncton; grandchildren, Mike, Amy, Terry,
Ryan, Trevor, Justin, Jessica, Andy, Shane, Becca, Samantha and Mitch;
13 great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Beers; brothers, Henry (Jane),
Tommy (Carmen) and Charlie (Ruth); as well as several nieces, nephews,
and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he
was predeceased by his wife, Mary Cormier (Lewis); sisters, Helene,
Irene, Levina, Ida, Rita, Margaret and Eileen; and brothers, Robert,
Francis and Eddie.
The family would like to thank
the staff of the Veterans’ Health Centre for the care they
gave to our dad during his brief stay.
A graveside service will take
place at The Adamsville Baptist Cemetery on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at
1:00 pm with Pastor Paul Leger leading the
service.

arrangements.
