The death of Wendell
Alexander MacLean, 81, of Sackville, occurred at the
Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. Wendell was born in
Prince Edward Island before moving to Sackville, NB. He was the son of
the late William and Gertrude (Dennis) MacLean.
Wendell had been an employee with
Correction Services Canada up until his retirement.
Wendell is survived by two sons, Peter
and William MacLean; his common-law-partner, Rose Kay; a half sister,
Dulcinea Andrews, as well as many grandchildren, nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased
by his brother William and his sister Elizabeth.
Arrangements are under the care and
supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70
Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300). Honouring Wendell’s
wishes, cremation has taken place. There is to be no
services at this time. A graveside service will take place
at a later date to be announced.
Donation in memory of Wendell may be
made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
