Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Wade Carrier of Lorne which occurred at the Villa Renaissance in Dalhousie NB.
Wade leaves behind to mourn his loving wife of 46 years, Peggy; his parents William and Zita; brother Donnie (Therese); sister Teeny Zinke and Cathy Guitard (Frank). He was also pre deceased by his infant brothers Joseph and Ronnie.
Wade worked as an industrial mechanic at Brunswick smelting for 13 1/2 years and at N.B. Power, Dalhousie, for 25 years until his retirement.
Wade’s love of all cars and trucks began at a very young age (who knew the make and year of most vehicles). This love grew into a hobby and passion of buying rusted junk and turning it into something beautiful. This hobby introduced Wade and Peggy to many life-long friends, they met as members of the N.B. Antique Auto Club.
Wade’s quick wit and talent for telling jokes amused all those who knew him. Wade enjoyed his life to the fullest.
A special thank you to all the health care workers at the Villa Renaissance, Dalhousie, who took such good care of Wade.
A graveside service will be held at the St. Maria Goretti Cemetery on Monday November 15, 2021 at 3pm followed by a reception at the Lorne hall. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
