It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother Violet May Squire (nee Penney) in Clarenville on Sunday, August 29, 2021, aged 92 years.
Predeceased by her husband Samson, her daughter Alice, grandson Gordon, parents Eric and Martha Jane Penney and her siblings Edward Nelson, George Henry, Nora, and Gordon and other extended family members.
Leaving to mourn her sons Jared (Julia), Robert (Karen), William, Clyde (Monica), and her daughters Christine, and Doris Anne (Paul), son-in-law George, grandchildren Donna-Lynn (Brian), Robert-Paul, and Hannah, great-grandchildren Zachary and Isaiah, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law Amy Penny, Joyce Penney, and Amy Ralph (Calvin), and extended family and friends.
Resting at Oram’s Funeral Home, Eastport. Visitation on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Please wear a mask while visiting.
Funeral service will be held from Holy Cross Anglican Church, Eastport at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Please wear a mask.
