STOCKTON, Vernon Donald
It is with great sadness that the family of Vernon Stockton announce his sudden passing on November 8 at the age of 91. He is survived by Bertha, his best friend and wife of nearly 67 years, his special daughter Allison and her husband John, by his beloved granddaughter Alana and her partner Johnathan, and numerous nephews and nieces. Vernon was destined to work in the lumber business until he was called to a job interview at the Bank of Nova Scotia in Sus NB in 1949. He worked for the bank for 41 years at branches throughout New Brunswick and Ontario. Vernon made many friends along the way from Hillsborough NB, Moncton to Oshawa, London to Kapuskasing and 23 years in Toronto. He retired in 1990 and enjoyed over 20 winters at his second home in Estero Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations in Vernon’s name may be made to the Parkinson Society
