Obituary
We are very sad to tell you that last night mom passed away. She had developed a cough a few months ago but was still living independently in her condo. She started to decline around the beginning of October and went downhill so incredibly quickly. Caroline and I were able to stay with her to the end and it was quite peaceful. She wasn’t in any pain and just drifted into a deeper and deeper sleep. Mom loved to sing and dance and loved gatherings when we were all together dancing around the kitchen with the music on! She loved to giggle and laugh, and was hilarious at charades – always getting yelled at for cheeky attempts at cheating! She was hopeless at Pictionary but her attempts and the howls of laughter will always be a joy to remember! She loved the girls and was sooooo proud of both of them for what they do and who they have become. She adored her pets (a bit too much – we had to cut her off when she had a cardiac arrest when Parker died…). She was a huge nature lover and supporter of the World Wildlife Fund. She loved listening to the birds and watching the deer drink from the birdbath when the lived in Warsaw ON. At the end of the day, she was just a lovely sweet person and she will be sadly missed. Be free and happy wherever you are mom…
