It is with great sadness to announce that our beautiful Wife, Mom, Nana passed peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Friday, June 11, 2021, Valerie Ashdown (nee Harris) at 79 years of age. Beloved wife of Leonard Ashdown. Loving mother of Denise Carley (Chris). Cherished grandmother of Jessica Pentland (Robin), Amanda Carley (Dru) and great grandmother of Olivia Rose, Kacey, Kayden, and Karter. Predeceased by her brothers Dennis and Charlie. As well missed by Loraine Whitaker and children Steven, Anna, Samantha, and Ava. Cremation, with a Celebration of Life on July 3rd 2021. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation.
