We, the family of Valerie are sad to say that on Friday, May 28, 2021, she passed away following a brave fight with cancer.
Valerie leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Dennis Allan; son, George Christopher; brothers, Dennis (Lori) Isaac and Nicholas(Cathy) DiPenta; sister, Virginia (Eric) Hemphill; and many nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.
She was predeceased by her parents, David and Helen (Buist) Isaac and her brother, Terry MacNeil.
For many years, she was employed by the Hearthstone Inn where she made long-lasting friendships. In her younger days, she enjoyed playing darts and bowling, but her favourite pastime was Bingo and spending time with family and friends.
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the cancer centre.
