It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Tim and Sue Hudson, in his 64th year and her 65th year, of Chatham as a result of a car accident near Petawawa, on Wednesday November 10th, 2021. Cherished parents of Jon and his wife Elaine of Petawawa, and grandparents of Lucian, Syrus, and Lyanna. Tim is the cherished son of the late Bill and Norma Hudson. Dear brother of Gary Hudson, Sue Baylis (Clint), Tom Hudson, and Penny Balylis. Sue is the cherished daughter of Aart and Hetty Hystek. Dear sister of Johannes Hystek, Dorothy Milak (Gord), Angela Woychenko (Steve), Elisabeth Hystek (late) and Carolyn Robinson (Eric).
Tim and Sue were active community members and well known for their faith in God and service to others. In their 42 year marriage, raising Jon and spending time with their grandchildren was the highlight of their lives. We treasure our memories and know they will be greatly missed by all whose lives were touched by their kind and generous spirits.
Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington St. West, Chatham, 519-352-2710 on Friday November 19th, 2021, with visiting from 2 to 4 pm, and 7 to 9 pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, you must schedule your visitation time in advance by calling the funeral home at (519) 352-2710. All attendees as mandated by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario must wear a mask at all visitations and funerals. A family funeral service for Tim and Sue will be streamed live from the funeral home on Saturday November 20th, 2021, at 11 am, with Deacon Joe Milak officiating.
