Hercia, Thomas (Tom) Stephen
Passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Extendicare Oshawa, at the age of 72. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Victoria Hercia. Loving brother of Joan (the late Bill) Vekasi and Gloria (Ted) Bradley. Dear uncle to 5 nieces and nephews and 9 great nieces and nephews.
Tom retired from the Oshawa General Hospital, after 35 years of service. He loved driving his red Chevy Monte Carlo and seeing the Oshawa Generals play. He also enjoyed fishing, golf and country music. A special thank you to Fr. Bohdan Hladio, Dr. Nguyen and Tom’s caregivers and nursing staff at Extendicare.
Due to the restrictions of the COVID19 pandemic, a private family funeral will be held at Armstrong Funeral Home with interment at Union Cemetery, Oshawa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. John the Baptist Church in Oshawa or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.armstrongfh.ca
