In loving memory of Thelma Joan Bosolasco (nee Ford).
Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Saturday, December 11th, 2021 at Maison McCulloch Hospice.
Loving, devoted wife and best friend of 52 years to Jorge Bosolasco.
She raised 3 beautiful children Marylynn, Margaret-Rose, and Ramie Mentis. Grandmother of Julia, Alexandria, Philip, Isaac, Makala, and Jacob, and great grandmother of Teddy, and Maggie. Cherished daughter of Henry and Signe Ford (nee Hanson) both predeceased. Sister of Norma Ford Symington of Picton, and Eric Ford predeceased.
Thelma was born in Montreal, Quebec. She taught school for 35 years with the Sudbury, and its predecessor boards, and also was a graduated from Laurentian University in 1980. Thelma was warm, kind and gentle soul. She was an active tree planter, and enjoyed line dancing, cooking and baking, and knitting sweaters and mitts for everyone. She also enjoyed camping, and spent many happy summers at her cottage on Lake Wahnapitae. She was an avid traveller. She and Jorge travelled to all 7 continents and sailed the 7 seas! They also sailed the North Channel in their Tanzer 7.5 out of Little Current. She was a member for 20 years with the Nickel City Walkers.
The family would like to express their deepest thanks to Dr. Dhatt, Dr. Pitre, and Dr Singh for their excellent care and compassion. Also a great thank you to all the angels at the Maison McCulloch Hospice.
A private burial will take place in the St. John’s Cemetery in Garson. Arrangements entrusted to the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home.
