Tena Augustin
(May 27, 1923 – July 26, 2021)
Tena Augustin of Camrose, AB, formerly of New Norway, AB, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, at the age of 98 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her four children Janet (John) Vanderspoel of Edmonton, Judy Augustin of Edmonton, Paul (Barb) Augustin of Calgary, and James (Susan) Augustin of New Norway; one sister Jane Treleaven of Vernon, BC; two brothers Stanley Peterson of Ferintosh, and Edward Peterson of Ferintosh; nine grandchildren Gerrit Vanderspoel, Trena Kiss, Trent Vanderspoel, Jill Petkau, Jason Augustin, Krista Ziemann, Chelsie Augustin, Janelle Stoby, and Erica Augustin; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Tena was predeceased by her husband John; infant twin sons Joseph and George; her parents; two sisters; and three brothers.
A « Celebration of Life » service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 2, 2021, from the New Norway Evangelical Free Church.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Tena’s memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, the New Norway Evangelical Free Church, or to the charity of one’s choice.
