On behalf of his wife, Nicky, I would like to thank all those who were friends with John (Bufford, Buttsy).
Johnny will be sorely missed by his devoted wife Niki, daughter Dallas, sister Pat (Travis), three of Johnny’s nieces – Brandy, Dawn, Karlee, as well by numerous cousins and family members, and the town of Wabamun and all his buds who genuinely knew him.
Due to covid and the weather, Nicky will be holding a campfire festive come this summer. Exact time is to be determined.
Johnny lived life to the fullest even when diagnosed with cancer 5 times over. He loved hunting, fishing or being outdoors. When those options were not available, he sat in front of the TV watching any sport that was on, even soccer towards the end.
If it wasn’t for his adopted son, Jon, he wouldn’t have rekindled his love of pool, 8 ball.
Several tournaments were won. He just missed out on the chance to go to Vegas!
The family wishes to thank Moe and Paige and the whole Westview Med Centre for all their care they gave Johnny.
