It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mom, Shirley Whiteside (nee King) on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of her true love the late Edmund (Ted) Whiteside, proud mother of Glenn, the late Donald, Patricia (Colin) and Tim (Dinah). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Brandon, Connor, Jacqueline, Tyler and Natalie.
Shirley was a beautiful soul, and a selfless and giving person. Everyone who met Shirley loved her positive outlook and sense of humour. Among her varied interests, Shirley enjoyed playing volleyball, piano, skating, and riding her bike. Shirley especially enjoyed her summers on Harris Lake with her cottage friends and family.
