Shirley Gladys Lidstone
1939-2021
The death occurred at Maplewood Manor, Alberton on Thursday,
February 11, 2021 of Shirley Gladys Lidstone, formerly of Knutsford
aged 81, wife of the late Jimmy Lidstone.
Shirley was born
on October 27, 1939 in Springfield West, daughter of the late Wilbert
and Ruth (Silliker) Currie.
Cherished mom to Kevin (Jacqueline Boyd), Cascumpec; Dean
(Ann Dugay), Bloomfield and Shannon (Donna), North Carolina. Loving
Nan to Darcy, Jenna (Morgan) Cooke, Keegan (Michael), Katelyn (Brad
Stewart) and her great grandchildren Keana, Skyla, Lennon, Piper and
Blayne.
Dear sister to Thelma (Melvin) Betts, Springfield West,
sister in law to Greta (Keith) Paugh, Unionvale and Charlotte
Lidstone, Knutsford.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents, husband Jimmy (2007)
and sister Leta.
Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary, due to Covid 19 restrictions, private funeral
arrangements for invited guests on Tuesday. Interment to follow in the
Knutsford Cemetery.
