Shirley A. MacDonald
1937 – 2021
Shirley Amy MacDonald, wife of James MacDonald of Woodstock, NB and formerly of Miramichi, passed away at the Carleton Manor, Woodstock, NB on April 4, 2021 at the age of 84.
Born in Loggieville, on February 11, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Stuart Charles and Mary Alice (Matthews) Trevors. She was a Homemaker and Christian by faith.
Shirley is survived by her husband, James MacDonald; five daughters: Susan Crosson (Will), Brenda Harrison, Heather Disher (Raymond), Fay Fraser (Dwight) and Jennifer Pettersen (Jeff); two sons: James MacDonald (Manon) and John MacDonald (Wilma); 23 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Gertrude and Jennie. She was predeceased by her parents; daughter, Judith; son, Barry; sisters: Sadie and Alice; and brother, Edward.
A PUBLIC Visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A PRIVATE Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
