Sherry had various careers during her working years and ended at the Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home as a CCA. She had just recently retired due to medical issues.
She is survived by her daughter, Hilda (Heidi) Dykeman. Sherry was predeceased by her husband, Stephen; parents, Leslie and Hilda Crowell; brothers, Ernest and Leslie (Butch); and sister, Jean Stanners. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
There will be no visitation as per her request and a private family burial will take place at a later date.
Donations in her memory can be made to the SPCA of Nova Scotia or to the Schizophrenia Society of Nova Scotia.
