Sheila Maureen Westhaver Wednesday August 25th 2021 avis de deces

Sheila Maureen Westhaver
“Sheila would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a
call, a sort of an offer you couldn’t refuse, for an appointment from which she
will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a
reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Job security is
exactly 110 percent. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she
will be socializing, knitting and doing word searches to her heart’s content.
Music, laughter and love are guaranteed.
We want to let her know that she did a great job and wish her a safe journey. We
will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, but particularly her love for life,
family and friends. She worked very hard all her life, up until the very end. She
made a difference in the lives of many.
October 6, 1937 – August 25, 2021 she filled her 83 years to the brim and
beyond; she never did things half way. She was the eldest of five children of the
late Arvilla Moore and the late Ralph Edward Judge. She worked outside of the
home her whole life in various positions but she retired from NS Power after two
decades of service; except time to have her two girls. She was predeceased by
her husband of 42 years Glendon, by her sisters Iris and Brenda, and her
grandson Jonathan. She is survived by her two daughters Karen(Royal) Stevens,
Kelly Westhaver (Brian Cottam), two grandsons, Matthew and Glendon, Sister,
Joan(Maurice) Williamson and brother Ralph(Betty) Judge and several nieces
and nephews.
We would like to thank all the staff of 9C Balsam Bay Northwood Care who took
wonderful care of her even during her spicy times. Our special thanks to RN Siju
and caregivers Cindy and Chloe who cared for her as if she was their own.
Due to Covid restrictions family graveside service was held August 28, 2021. In
lieu of flowers donations may be made to William Black Memorial Church Hall
10515 Peggy’s Cove Rd, Glen Margaret, NS B3Z3G9.
