LUBELL, Sheila – On Saturday, March 13, 2021. Beloved wife and best friend of Michael for 57 years, loving mother and mother-in-law of Debra Werner, and Brenda and David Green. Daughter of the late Rae and Louis Francoz. Devoted grandmother to Rachel and Joshua Green, and Sadie-Rae and Lenny Werner. Dear sister and sister-in-law to Allan and Elaine Francoz, Bruce and Vicki Lubell, and Richard and Jan Lubell, and the late Marilyn and Warren Weiss, and Joseph Francoz. Sheila was a gentle, kind, and caring person who was always thinking of others. She was talented, creative, active and enjoyed running, tennis, cross-country skiing, and crafts with the family. She was involved in many projects that served the greater good for her community including volunteer work with her daughters’ schools, the synagogue, and local efforts to help new refugees. Together she and Michael helped numerous people start a new life in Canada. Sheila was devoted to her family and forged lifelong friendships, giving her time whenever needed. She enjoyed traveling and maintaining connections with everyone. Sheila always demonstrated grace, bravery, and resilience with each challenge she was dealt. She and Michael developed special relationships with the wonderful women who cared for her over the years. She especially enjoyed reading, music, film, ballet, and theatre with Michael and their beloved Rose. Sheila was an empathetic caring soul who touched the lives of everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed by all.
