Sharon Ann Ryan Thursday December 31st 2020 avis de deces

With profound sadness we announce the passing of our loving wife and mother. Ryan,Sharon Ann, age 70, passed away peacefully at the Villa Acadienne with her husband and daughter by her side on December 31, 2020. For the past five years, she battled Alzheimer’s. If you knew Sharon before the illness, you truly understand the sadness. Born in Yarmouth, July 19, 1950, she was the daughter to the late Kenneth and Katherine(Saulnier)Burrill. Sharon was a former telephone operator. She enjoyed gardening and taking her dog, Emi, for walks. Sharon’s greatest passion was building a beautiful cottage complete with a rock fireplace, a tree fort and beautiful window flower pots. Spending time with her family at the cottage brought her so much happiness. She took so much pride in preparing meals and taking care of others. She especially loved being a grandmother as she absolutely adored her grandchildren. Sharon will always be remembered for her caring and friendly personality. When you ran into her, it was a given that you were going to receive the biggest, loving hug. For the past few years, during her illness, the highlight of her days were spent taking long drives in the car with her husband, visits from her sisters and daily outings with her daughter. She loved her family, and she will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Terry Ryan; daughter Tracy(Graham)d’Eon; son Terry(Hayley)Ryan; grandchildren Katie, Ryan, Caitlyn, Cale, Mia. Sharon was predeceased by her sister June(Donnie)Jayne and brother Terry(Jacqueline)Burrill. She is survived by brother Kenneth(Diane)Burrill and sisters Lynn(Richard)Sisco and Karen(Bill)Rhyno-Betts. Memorial donations can be made to the SPCA or the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Villa Acadienne, Dr. Chandler and Dr. Sheila Leleay; your compassion and dedication will always be treasured. A private graveside interment will take place at a later date in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery.
