Paulette Mary Gorman

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Paulette “Pauly” Mary Gorman, loving wife of Peter Gorman, announce her passing on Wednesday August 18, 2021, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on June 5, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Florence (Boudreau) Danahy. Pauly was a custodian at KVHS for over 25 years.  She enjoyed trailering, shopping and her pool but was most happy spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her loving husband of 53 years, Peter, she is survived by her sons Preston (Kim) of Quispamsis and Philip (Jules) of St. Martins; one brother Paul Danahy of Saint John; sister-in-law Marylee Danahy of Quispamsis; 5 grandchildren, Allison, Taylor, Ben, Hayden and Terra.

Pauly was predeceased by her parents, her brother Frank Danahy and her sister-in-law Linda Danahy.

At her request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Private family interment will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Friday, August 27, 2021.  Donation in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society, Bobby’s Hospice or the charity of one’s choice.
