Roy Harcourt

 Roy Harcourt passed away peacefully on December 25, 2021 at the age of 75.

 He was predeceased by his parents Jim and Doreen Harcourt; his sister Joyce Madden and brother-in-law Bill Madden. He is survived by his wife Nancy Snell; children Jamie Schwartz (Darrin), Marty Zerr (Tanya) and David Harcourt; grandchildren Vincent, Jessie, Drayden, Kale, Lily and Samantha; stepsons Craig and Ryan Snell; niece and nephews Jim Madden (Wanda Dreger), Chris Erhardsen (David), Joe Madden, Tim Madden and Kevin Madden (Angie); grandnieces and grandnephews Kennedy (Jordan), Payten, Hannah, Jordan, Chris, Dylan, Jesse and Katelyn.

 Roy spent most of his work life with the Ironworkers Union (Local 771). He fondly reminisced about the good times he had with his fellow workers. He still kept in touch with as many as he could. Roy loved hunting over the years, especially with his good friend and fellow Ironworker Jim Mercer. In later years Roy’s favorite pastime was spending time with his family at Prairie Lake Regional Park on Lake Diefenbaker, SK where he loved to boat and fish. He will be missed.

 A Family Memorial will be scheduled at a later date.

Very sorry to hear of Roy’s passing. He was a good friend of my father Mike Sutherland a fellow iron worker. Roy came to visit dad this fall prior to his passing, it meant the world to dad to see him and swap a few old stories. If there are deer up in heaven they better look out as dad always said Roy was a hell of a shot!
