Poulton, Russell Scott
Passed away peacefully on Friday August 6th, 2021, at the age of 62, surrounded by his family. Scott was born on February 2, 1959 in Brantford, Ontario to parents Don and Eleanor. Brother to three siblings: Glenda, Darrell, and Claudeana. He finally found his perfect match when he met his beloved wife, Carol Anne (née Rutledge). They were married in 2018 and shared three and a half beautiful years together, the happiest of their lives. Scott was a father to four fantastic and quick-witted children and their spouses: Kyle and Danielle, Cody and Anna, Karissa, Kealy and Jay. He was a stepfather to three very lucky stepchildren and their spouses: Shawna and Jamie, Brooke and Holly, and Karly, whom he loved deeply as if they were his own. Scott also counted himself blessed to be a devoted grandfather to nine spirited grandchildren who will all miss their Pops. Scott had the biggest heart, unmatched in his kindness and generosity. He was quick to offer a helping hand and would drop anything to be there for his friends and family whenever they needed, no questions asked. In his spare time, you could find him on the golf course or at the racetrack, but his favourite way to spend his time was with the people he loved. Family and friends are welcome to gather for visitation on Friday, August 13th, 2021 from 4 pm to 8 pm at New Life Pentecostal Assembly, 85 Clench Ave in Brantford, ON. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 14th, 2021 at 1 pm at New Life Pentecostal Assembly. Masks and social distancing will be required. Though nothing could soften the pain we feel at the sudden loss of Scott, his family is comforted to know that he is finally home and at peace. We will forever cherish the precious memories we have of our Scotty, Dad, and Pops, and hold him dearly in our hearts.
