With sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Rui on November 14, 2021 at the age of 36. Cherished son of Jose and Isabel and beloved brother of Nelia (Andrea). Forever in the heart of his fiancé Elena. Proud uncle to Kai. Rui will be missed by his many friends, family and co-workers.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Monday from 2-8 p.m.
Due to capacity restrictions at St. Matthew’s Church a private funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Friends and relatives are welcome to participate virtually via St. Matthew’s YouTube page: www.youtube.com/channel/UCV124B89rfwUVDMnnmCD7rQ/featured
Rui will be laid to rest at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St., north of Steeles Ave.).
