BELLEMARE, Rose Lorette
After a courageous battle with cancer, Rose Bellemare (nee Coderre), 87 years of age, passed away on July 17, 2021 with her family by her side at The Carpenter Hospice, Burlington, Ontario.
Rose was predeceased by her cherished husband Émilien Bellemare in 2014.
Rose took pride in her skills in the kitchen, amazing card playing and great sense of humour. She was always a very proud lady. She will be forever etched in the lives of her children: Joanne Haché (Jacques), Monique Granby (Robert), Louise Deeming (David) and Thérèse Bourdages (Marc).
She was the much-loved ‘grandmaman’ to Marc (Michelle), Suzanne (Shawn), Colin, Lianne (Troy), Brian (Alison), Nicole (Steven), Samantha (Brad), Eric (Ashley), Michael (Samantha) and Nicolas (Emily). She was ‘grand-grandmaman’ to Juliet, Elizabeth, Braden, Charlotte, Hunter, Everest, Simcoe, Hayes, Bowen, and soon to arrive, Lucas.
Rose will be dearly missed by her 5 remaining sisters, May Charlebois (Eugène), Claire Fortier, Reina Racicot, Yvonne Godin (Gerry) and Thérèse Rainville (Fidele); 3 brothers, Claude Coderre (Madeleine), Gilbert Coderre and Yvon Coderre (Morva) as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, 2261 Parkway Drive, Burlington, on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Please visit St. Gabriel’s website, www.saintgabrielchurch.com, if you wish to Livestream the Mass from home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Carpenter Hospice where Rose was always treated with compassion and dignity.
Our family would like to sincerely thank the wonderful staff at the hospice for making our times there with our mother very comfortable during the difficult COVID-19 restrictions.
