It is with profound sadness that we announce Ron’s passing on October 25, 2021 during his second battle with Cancer. Ron passed peacefully, on his own terms, with his wife Jan by his side and his immediate family close by, lending their support to us and each other.
Left to cherish his memory besides Jan are his children Dana (Derrick) and Devon (Jen) and his beloved grandchildren Haley, Rylan and Remi, his brother Gerald and his sister-in-law Val (Stel) and their families, as well as many fine friends and extended family. Ron will also be missed by his special four-legged “Rescued” friends Daisy (his canine buddy) and Lucy (a little heifer – now not so little).
Ron was an accomplished automotive and diesel mechanic with a passion for Hot Rods and a self-taught machinist, welder, and all-round tradesman who took great pride in a job well done. None of these accomplishments, however, surpassed the pride he had in his family.
Ron was predeceased by his very precious granddaughter Darah, his parents Jean (Bob) Belluk, Erwain Hoffman, his sister Valerie, and his in-laws Doug and Ida Campbell and sister-in-law Carol (Jerry).
In accordance with Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
Our family wishes to thank our family physician, Dr. J. Partyka, Dr. M. Bruneau, CancerCare Manitoba, and the wonderful staff at Pinawa Hospital for their compassionate care.
“Cruise On” Dear Ron, Dad, Pup!
