At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Saturday, January 30, 2021. Rodriguez Gareau of Cornwall, formerly of Lancaster; age 89 years. Loving father of Theresa, Cécile (Bill), Jean (Martin), André, and Monique. Predeceased by 1 grandchild, 1 great-grandchild, his brothers Alban (late Lucienne), Jean Guy (late Gladys), Mario (Patricia), Aurele (Alice), Sylvio (Norma), Rene (Jill and by a previous marriage to the late Doris), by his sister Huguette Disotell (late Russell), and by his parents Osée and Irène Gareau (nee Bourbonnais). Survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A visitation with controlled attendance will be held at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 46 Oak St., Lancaster (613-347-3629) on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 9 am -11 am. For those who wish to attend the attendance controlled visitation must call the Funeral Home between 9 am-5 pm to reserve a time to attend. A private Chapel Service will follow with Interment in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Cemetery, Lancaster. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
