Obituary of Robert Nicholas Fetter
It is with profound sadness that the family of Robert (Rob) Nicholas announce his sudden passing.
Beloved son of Pam, Calgary and Robert, Salmon Arm, sister Natasha (Ryan), nephew Skyler and extended aunts, uncles and cousins. Special thanks to Tyler (Fitz) for your years of friendship and shared hobbies.
With a great love of all things outdoors Rob could be found enjoying and exploring the backroads of Kananaskis in his pride and joy, his GMC Sierra, often with his mom as his co-pilot. He enjoyed history and could spend hours discussing ancient civilizations, their people and lands.
Rob enjoyed nature photography and creatures big and small. His Bull Mastiff King was a big part of his life and could be found taking on the adventures in stride; even riding the Banff Gondola with him much to the amusement of all! At home his cat Smokey Bear when not lounging in a window could be found fast asleep on Rob’s chest.
Rob was a 26 year employee of Canada Safeway (Sobey’s West). He took pride in a job well done and worked in a variety of positions within the company. He made many lasting friendships with those he worked with.
May the sunshine guide you home and gentle winds lift your wings; rest in peace.
