Robert Gordon Leslie « Bob »
Mapplebeck – 78, of Black Rock, passed away on Sunday,
December 26, 2021 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in
Forest Glade, Annapolis Co., he was a son of the late Henry and Edna
(Ward) Mapplebeck.
Prior to retirement, Bob worked as a mechanic
for many years and was a great handyman and carpenter. Bob was a warm,
gentle, loving man who gave of himself and always put those he loved
first. He loved unconditionally and was truly a selfless person. Bob
loved hunting, fishing, camping, four wheeling and the great outdoors
in general.
Bob was a great father and a wonderful husband
and hero to his wife Pam. He will remain in their hearts
forever.
Bob is survived by his wife, Pamela Barteaux;
sons, Samuel and Mitchell Kane; stepdaughters, Colleen and Leah
Barteaux; and six grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no
visitation or funeral service. Donations
in memory may be made to the Kings County SPCA. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the
White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville.
