Rongits, Rita Christine (nee Ruff)
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rita Rongits on September 17, 2021 at Macassa Lodge in her 86th year. Loving mother of Carmen McDermott, Camila King, Rose Rongits, and Robert Rongits. Dear grandmother of several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Friday, September 24th from 10-11am followed by a chapel service at 11am. Burial to take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA would be appreciated by the family. Due to Covid-19, all in attendance must RSVP either on the funeral home website or by calling 905-388-4141. Everyone in attendance must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
